The Sava Bohinjka

Lake fed, the Sava Bohinjka is a very clear river in most spectacular surroundings. Mountains in the distance and unspoilt meadows with many acres of beautiful wild flowers. Grayling, rainbow and brown trout feed under the tree lined banks. Free rising and good hatches of many insects make a dry fly fisherman’s paradise. Along with the residents; hutchen, the migratory salmonode from the Danube also put in an appearance.
